Three types of house construction styles will be taught. Hip Joint, A-frame, and Gabled roof .
Community members and students will learn the ancient art of “Uhau Humu Pōhaku”( dry stone masonry)consisting of basic stone stacking and traditions related to house construction, Platforms, altars, terraces and walls. Traditional methods of house construction will be taught to students attending the classes.
